Welcome to Molé Mama! A place where food is love and love is food. Diana Silva has a love affair with cooking started when she was just nine years old her mother Rose asked her to help make flour tortillas. She expertly poured water, flour, salt and a little baking powder in the bowl and taught her how to mix it together. Diana eagerly put her small hands in the bowl and tried to follow her mother’s patient instructions. She loved the way the sticky dough felt in her little fingers.
She didn’t understand the road she was embarking on that afternoon and the joy that the experience of cooking with her mother for the next 20 years. What a treasure of memories they shared.
