The Carlsbad Village Association brings back the beloved Art Walk in Carlsbad
The Carlsbad Village Association is pleased to announce the return of a much beloved Art Walk in Carlsbad 4th Thursday of the Month. Originally called Thursdays on the Coast, the new Carlsbad Village Art Walk will take place on the fourth Thursday of every month from 5pm to 8pm in collaboration with Cruising the Art Scene held at the Village Faire Shops. This self-guided tour will introduce you to the wonderful stores, galleries, and even restaurants throughout the village that feature art by local and regional artists.
To help with the self-guided tour, brochures will be available throughout the village at participating locations, the Visitor’s Center, and hotels complete with an easy-to-follow map identifying each Art Walk location and where music or demos will be taking place. The brochure will also indicate what type of art each participating location will be featuring (photography, sculpture, mixed media, etc.) to better help you customize your walk.

Who is the Carlsbad Village Association? The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization whose core purpose is to lead the continual improvement of Carlsbad Village, making it the premier gathering place in North County. What Does the CVA Do? Our goal is to increase the visibility of Carlsbad Village as a whole and in turn the village merchants. We hold regular events each year and collaborate with other village groups holdings events, manage a website that promotes the village and its merchants, send out weekly eBlasts to over 2,800 subscribers, post regularly on both Instagram and Facebook, advertise in local publications, work with city staff on issues such as lighting, signage, revitalization, and economic developme nt, and we maintain regular contact with City Council on all matters relative to the village.
