Coffee in Carlsbad

Coffee in Carlsbad should be included in the fun things to do in Carlsbad.  Here are my favorite places in Carlsbad to grab a really good cup of coffee:

Vinaka – Coffee in Carlsbad – A favorite local coffee house that also serves a mean breakfast sandwich. When the weather is warm, they roll up the garage door to let the outside in. Their coffee is always fresh and the staff is friendly.

Sleeping Tiger Coffee – a full service specialty coffee roastery and winery in downtown Carlsbad Village, so when you are done with your coffee you can start your wine tasting.

Carlsbad Chocolate Bar –  Not only will you get a great cup of coffee, but you’ll find a nice selection of wines and delicious chocolates. Try their Sea Salt Caramel Chocolates with your cup of java.

La Costa Coffee Roasting –  As the name implies, La Costa Coffee Roasting roasts their own coffee right on the premises. They serve very strong coffee that is sure to get you moving in the morning. They’re located next to the movie house Cinepolis so you can grab a cappuccino or latte before or after seeing a movie.

Park Hyatt Aviara – Grab a cup of warm coffee and take a stroll around the grounds. You’ll swear you’re in another world.

Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort –  Recently awarded the prestigious four-diamond rating from AAA, the Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort serves delicious Lavazza coffee.  You can sit outside, enjoy the morning, and listen to the sounds of the ocean.

Baba Coffee – GOOD COFFEE • GOOD VIBES Coffee Beans with Prager Brothers Bread, SusieCakes and VG Donuts.

Carlsbad has some of the best coffee in San Diego, California. And yes there is a Starbucks but it is not local coffee.  Try local it’s the best.
