We created the storytelling collection to preserve the stories of Carlsbad Food Tours, the restaurants we work with, the people we meet, and the community we have spent more than a decade sharing with visitors.
What began in 2014 as a small walking food tour with eight guests has grown into something much larger.
Thousands of people have walked through Carlsbad Village with our guides.
- They have tasted food.
- Met restaurant owners.
- Learned about Carlsbad’s history.
- Discovered hidden places.
- Shared meals with strangers.
- Celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, bachelorette parties, and corporate events.
- And somewhere along the way, we realized we were doing more than conducting food tours.
- We were collecting stories.
Our Storybook Collection:
Discover Carlsbad, Restaurant Storybook, Agricultural Heritage, Historic Buildings, Carlsbad Visitor Guides, and selected stories about the history and legacy of Carlsbad Food Tours.
