All About Carlsbad – An Affluent Beach Village in North County San Diego

Carlsbad is an affluent beach village in the North County San Diego region.  With year round practically perfect weather there is no shortage of endless summer fun. It has 7 miles of gorgeous beaches for swimming, surfing and stand up paddle boarding. Families may also enjoy a day at Legoland one of California’s elite resort parks for children and adults alike.  Carlsbad California is also a foodie town, with tons of fabulous restaurants and eateries in the village.  Carlsbad Food Tours offers guest a glimpse of these restaurants with small tasting and local history presentations while on the 3 hour guided walking tour of the village.
Shopping is another favorite past-time in the village.  The Premium Outlet Mall is located near the Flower Fields and there are plenty of deals to be found.  The Flower Fields are one of my favorite places to go in town during the season.  Giant Tecolote Ranunculus Flowers transform the rolling hills of Carlsbad to create a beautiful colorful nature painting.  The flowers are one of Mother Natures most beautiful sights in California.  That is why Carlsbad is known as the Flower Capital of the US.
It is also known as the  Golf Capital, many of the major golf companies: Taylor-Made, Adidas and Calloway are all located in Carlsbad, California.  Take your pick of tremendous golf courses; La Costa and The Crossings is just to name a few.
A vacation mecca, come and enjoy yourself and  Experience the Best of what our town has to offer!  Something wonderful is around every corner. Perfectly situated between the laid-back vibe of downtown San Diego and the glamour of Orange County, the world is at your fingertips, while your toes are in the sand.
