Meet the Local Owner

The Carlsbad Village location of Crispy Cones was brought to the community by former NFL wide receiver Tyrell Williams.

After seven years in professional football, Williams began a new entrepreneurial chapter by developing the Carlsbad franchise. The project required approximately two years of planning and construction before opening in the Village.

A European Treat Comes to Carlsbad

Crispy Cones draws inspiration from a traditional European rolled pastry.

Each dough cone is hand rolled, cooked until warm and crisp, and coated with cinnamon sugar or another flavored finish. The inside can be lined with a creamy spread before being filled with soft serve and finished with sauces, fruit, candy, or other toppings.

The Signature Experience

The contrast is the heart of the treat: warm pastry surrounding cool, creamy soft serve.

Guests can customize their cones, making the ordering process part of the experience. The finished dessert is colorful, portable, and well suited to an afternoon or evening walk through Carlsbad Village.
