Birthday & Father’s Day Celebration at Vigilucci’s Seafood & Steakhouse

We had a lovely time celebrating at Vigilucci Seafood and Steakhouse. But I do have to say it was very busy, since it was Father’s Day, an official holiday.  We dined al fresco on their patio facing the ocean.  It is always a pleasure looking at the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean at sunset while dining. Vigilucci’s is only of the only restaurants in Carlsbad with an ocean view.

Robert Vigilucci’s is original from Milano in Northern Italy. He is passionate about food. He prides himself on unparalleled Italian home cooking reminiscent of his childhood in Milano, where families are raised in kitchens and food is a centerpiece of the culture.

Vigilucci’s menu features prime steaks and the freshest seafood, all with a signature Italian flair. They also feature an award-winning wine list.

Insalata di Cesare

Penne Vodka con Porcini e Gamberoni

Chopped tomatoes, porcini mushrooms, basil and garlic sautéed in a tomato-vodka cream sauce with rock shrimp and topped with a jumbo prawn.

Tagliatelle alla Bolognese

Traditional ragu of beef, veal and pork, slow-simmered in red wine and spices. Topped with Parmigiano and Pecorino Romano

The meal was delicious and very filling, no room for dessert this time.
