The Restaurants Transforming Carlsbad into a Culinary Destination
Today we’re taking a culinary journey through Carlsbad, exploring some of the restaurants, chefs, and visionaries who have helped transform this coastal community into one of Southern California’s most exciting food destinations. As the owner of Carlsbad Food Tours and a North County resident for more than 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of watching Carlsbad transform from a quiet beach town into one of Southern California’s most exciting culinary destinations. When I first moved here, visitors came for the beaches. Today, they come for both the beaches and the incredible food. The chefs and restaurateurs featured below have played a major role in putting Carlsbad on the map as a true foodie destination.
