Meet the Chef

Chandler’s Oceanfront Dining is located inside Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, a Hilton Resort and Spa.

The culinary program is led by Executive Chef John Hart, whose hospitality career includes positions at luxury hotels throughout California and across the country. Hart also served on the California Culinary Team and earned a gold medal at the Culinary Olympics in Berlin.
