Wine Tasting Bliss -Witch Creek Winery Carlsbad, California
Sun, sand and… wine, of course! The perfect vacation includes all three elements. A recent trip to Carlsbad, California, brought everything together, including the happy surprise of a downtown winery/tasting room. Our visit to the Witch Creek Winery was exceptional! Some dear friends invited us to join them on a vacation in Carlsbad and even gifted us our own condo unit! We tried to express our appreciation by providing some fun wine tasting experiences out on the sunny commons. Before long, though, our wine inventory fell to an alarming level. It was time to restock! Luckily, our friends new of a winery within walking distance (yes!) of our condos, so we set off for Witch Creek Winery. Carlsbad Sign Lighting – The New Gateway to Carlsbad
The New Gateway to Carlsbad – Carlsbad Sign Lighting The Carlsbad sign lighting was a big hit. The sign is the brainchild of Carlton Lund, a real estate agent and former chairman of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. He said he got the idea 14 years ago when he attended the dedication of Encinitas’ gateway sign. “The day after, I started the campaign,” Lund said. “It was part of my Midwest roots, where every town has a sign. I felt that Carlsbad had to have one,…
